Lien Lei Plushie -Bday- '10

Happy Birthday Christine!

It was bound that this would come about, I mean, right? Perfect opportunity to try my hand at making a plushie version of one of my favorite web comic characters (soon to be anime as well!) PLUS. I mean, need to do SOMETHING for your birthday, right? RIGHT. *needed a logical excuse to continue her stalker fan girl ways*

So. Here is Lien Lei/Chris, aka the Black Tempest!

For his outfit I combined his look from his E-Depth Angel character profile on the website with this anime look.

(You can tell due to his shoulders, the back of his jacket and the pattern on his shoes, lol)

Also his hair... Let me explain. While he has an official count of spikes on his head (thank you anime ref sheet, lol), it's hair to get the right look in a 360 angle. Since most of the time the viewer sees him facing forward or to the side, it is hard to tell where the back spikes go. Aka the ones that look like they are on the top of his head actually arc and go back. SO. He now has spikes on the top of his head and in back of him to keep that illusion look, lol.

~Facts~
The painted green parts on his body glow in the dark if exposed to enough direct light. (Camera fails to capture this like with what happens to the None sculpture I did last year)
All the details on his clothes are painted on.
He can't stand up by himself
He is 8inches tall not counting his hair and is 10 inch to his highest hair spike, haha.
*Supplies- felt, puff paints, polyfiber stuffing, hot glue gun (for hair), needle and thread = 100% hand made

Guess who is next *makes grabby hands for Kolei* (Hey now, I have a LOT of camel colored felt fabric. YARDS. And I need to use it, lol. DARN YOU LIGHT SKIN COLOR THAT EVADES ME!)
I am really tempted to make an enraged/None synced Chris because I really want to make use of my white felt and my glow in the dark paint... 83
